This week jazz group Shards of Reason climbs a notch into the peak position on Jazzy Lounge Top 25 with "Goodbye, She Said" from their newest release The Saturday Bridge. "Goodbye, She Said" begins as a gentle, melancholic piano solo joined harmonically by the bass around the 1:00 mark. The jazz elements of piano, bass and drums blend around the 2:00 mark. Shortly thereafter we listen to Beth Freeman improvise off of her chord based melody.
