Music is known to be timeless, especially when the vibe is intoxicating. This is so true of Les Nubians' "Makeda" from their 1998 release Princesses Nubiennes. Jazzy. Funky. Infectious. Soulfully sung. You don't need to understand the language to get into the vibe. "Makeda" riding high at number one this week.
